What teaching formats do you offer?

We offer multiple ways to teach with Lawline: webcast over Zoom to a national audience, straight-to-on-demand recordings filmed with our team, or self-recorded programs you produce on your own schedule. Your Learning Solutions Attorney will help you pick the best fit.

How are Lawline programs recorded?

Our in-house Production team films every program over Zoom and makes the process seamless. They run a test with you in advance, handle the recording, and produce a polished final program — so you can focus on teaching.

Do I receive CLE credit for teaching?

Yes. We'll email you your CLE teaching credit certificate(s) once your program goes on-demand — just let us know in advance which states you're admitted in. Your certificates are also always available in your Lawline account.

Will my program have an audience?

If you choose a webcast, your course is delivered to attorneys watching remotely from their computers and mobile devices. You won't see the attendees, but they'll see both you and your slides as you present. On-demand and self-recorded formats reach attorneys through Lawline's on-demand library.

Can viewers ask questions?

For webcast programs, viewers can submit questions throughout via the Zoom chat function. You're not obligated to answer them, and there's no guarantee any will come in — so we don't recommend reserving time for Q&A. Plan to fill the entire scheduled slot so attorneys receive their full CLE credit.

What are the requirements for the PowerPoint?

Submit a .ppt or .pptx deck (no animations, transitions, or hyperlinks — our system can't accommodate them). The deck should stand alone as a useful resource without the video. We recommend at least 30 detailed, text-based slides for a 60-minute program, plus a final slide with 3–5 key takeaways.

Can I include supplemental materials?

Absolutely. They're not required, but we encourage sample agreements, legal documents, resource links, case citations, or anything else useful to attorneys practicing in this area. Send them in PDF to your Learning Solutions Attorney and we'll make them available to viewers for download.

Can I play video or audio clips during the program?

Yes. You can play video and audio clips during the program, and we can also incorporate media in post-production for on-demand viewers. Discuss any clips with your Learning Solutions Attorney at least two weeks in advance and submit them as MP4 files or YouTube links.

How long before my program should I log onto Zoom?

For webcast programs, please join your Zoom meeting thirty minutes before your program start time. The link is in your calendar invitation and in the instructions emailed to you by your Lawline Learning Solutions Attorney.

What happens after my program airs?

Within one week of filming, your program is published in Lawline's on-demand library. Each quarter you'll receive a report with total views, viewer ratings, and comments. We can also create professionally edited clips on request for use on social media, your website, and other promotional materials.

How can I share my Lawline program with others?

We give you many ways to share — a public course page you can post on social media, a faculty profile that's SEO-optimized, professionally edited social clips on request, and shareable links you can drop into your firm website, LinkedIn, email signature, and newsletters.

Can I promote my program online?

Of course. Share your course page on social media, your firm website, or anywhere else. You're also welcome to use a firm-branded PowerPoint template — just let us know in advance so we can troubleshoot during your filming walkthrough.
